Do I need an employer or job offer for EB-1A?

Extraordinary ability — Expertise showing you are among the small percentage at the top of your field.

Self-petition — Filing Form I-140 for yourself without an employer sponsor.

USCIS — U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Form I-140 — The immigrant petition used to file an EB-1 case.
