1. Who we are

EB-1 Portfolio Builder ("EPB", "we", "us") provides a software platform and mobile application that helps professionals prepare EB-1 portfolio evidence. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. Contact: hello@eb1portfoliobuilder.com.

2. Information we collect

• Account information — name, email address, and password when you register.
• Questionnaire responses — details about your field, achievements, and goals, used to generate your strategy plan.
• Documents and evidence — files you upload while building your portfolio.
• Usage data — how you use the app, so we can improve tutorials, templates, and guidance.
• Device data — device type, operating system, and app version for support and security.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to create and operate your account, generate your strategy plan, guide your document uploads, provide audio tutorials, templates and examples, respond to support requests, and keep the platform secure. We do not sell your personal information. Your documents and case data are not used to train AI models.

4. Legal bases

We process your data to perform our contract with you, with your consent where required (for example, marketing emails), and for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the platform.

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us run the platform (hosting, storage, analytics, payments), under contracts that protect your information; with authorities where the law requires; and with others only at your direction — for example, when you export your portfolio to share with your attorney.

6. Security and retention

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We retain your account data while your account is active and delete or anonymize it after closure, except where the law requires longer retention.

7. Your rights

8. Children

The platform is for adults preparing professional immigration portfolios and is not directed at children under 16.
