What this evidence category means in practice
An invitation alone does not show that judging occurred. EPB prompts users to gather the invitation, selection basis, completed reviews, event or journal records and proof of the subject matter evaluated.
EPB does not treat a file name or a short answer as the finished record. Its intelligent follow-up questions help identify who created the record, when it was created, what it proves, what context is missing and which independent source may corroborate it.
Records worth looking for
- Invitation and acceptance correspondence
- Completed review acknowledgements, score sheets or editorial records
- Event programme, journal page or panel listing
- Information explaining why you were selected and what work you evaluated
Keep original files where possible. Record the source, date, author or issuing body and a short factual note explaining what each item demonstrates.
Questions EPB asks—and why
- Did you actually complete the judging or review?
- What work did you assess and was it in your field or an allied field?
- What evidence can be retained without breaching reviewer confidentiality?
These questions are designed to expose missing context early. Clear answers help EPB build a fact-based evidence map and allow an attorney to spend more time on professional legal review rather than reconstructing years of background information.
Common documentation gaps
- Invitation retained but no evidence of completion
- Mentoring or routine supervision described as judging
- No connection between the work assessed and the applicant's expertise
A gap does not automatically mean that a category is unavailable. It identifies what still needs clarification, recovery or independent corroboration. EPB reports unresolved points honestly rather than turning assumptions into facts.
What EPB produces from your information
- A criterion evidence map connecting claims to documents and sources.
- A third-person critical evaluation separating supported facts, strengths and unresolved gaps.
- An evidence-based criterion thesis explaining how the documented material fits together.
- An organised portfolio that your independent attorney can review efficiently.
