What this evidence category means in practice

EPB organises more than a publication list. It connects each article to the complete text, authorship record, journal or conference information, indexing, citations and the applicant's field of expertise.

EPB does not treat a file name or a short answer as the finished record. Its intelligent follow-up questions help identify who created the record, when it was created, what it proves, what context is missing and which independent source may corroborate it.

Records worth looking for

  • Full article and stable publisher or repository link
  • Authorship and contributor information
  • Journal, conference or media information
  • Indexing, citation and readership records where available

Keep original files where possible. Record the source, date, author or issuing body and a short factual note explaining what each item demonstrates.

Questions EPB asks—and why

  • Is the work scholarly for this field and intended for an expert audience?
  • Can authorship and publication be verified independently?
  • What context helps a reader understand the venue and the work's reach?

These questions are designed to expose missing context early. Clear answers help EPB build a fact-based evidence map and allow an attorney to spend more time on professional legal review rather than reconstructing years of background information.

Common documentation gaps

  • CV entries without copies or stable links
  • Drafts or unverified acceptances mixed with published work
  • Metrics captured without date, database or comparison context

A gap does not automatically mean that a category is unavailable. It identifies what still needs clarification, recovery or independent corroboration. EPB reports unresolved points honestly rather than turning assumptions into facts.

What EPB produces from your information

  1. A criterion evidence map connecting claims to documents and sources.
  2. A third-person critical evaluation separating supported facts, strengths and unresolved gaps.
  3. An evidence-based criterion thesis explaining how the documented material fits together.
  4. An organised portfolio that your independent attorney can review efficiently.
