What this evidence category means in practice

An award is more useful when its importance can be documented—not merely named. EPB helps collect the award record, selection rules, judging body, eligible population, competitiveness and independent coverage so an attorney can assess the complete picture.

EPB does not treat a file name or a short answer as the finished record. Its intelligent follow-up questions help identify who created the record, when it was created, what it proves, what context is missing and which independent source may corroborate it.

Records worth looking for

  • Award certificate, announcement and official recipient page
  • Eligibility rules, judging methodology and number of entrants
  • Information about the awarding organisation and previous recipients
  • Independent press, professional coverage or institutional recognition

Keep original files where possible. Record the source, date, author or issuing body and a short factual note explaining what each item demonstrates.

Questions EPB asks—and why

  • Who selected the recipient and what expertise did the judges have?
  • How many people were eligible, nominated or entered?
  • Was the recognition local, national or international, and what records establish that reach?

These questions are designed to expose missing context early. Clear answers help EPB build a fact-based evidence map and allow an attorney to spend more time on professional legal review rather than reconstructing years of background information.

Common documentation gaps

  • A certificate without the selection standard
  • Internal recognition described as an independent award
  • Claims about prestige without a source or comparative context

A gap does not automatically mean that a category is unavailable. It identifies what still needs clarification, recovery or independent corroboration. EPB reports unresolved points honestly rather than turning assumptions into facts.

What EPB produces from your information

  1. A criterion evidence map connecting claims to documents and sources.
  2. A third-person critical evaluation separating supported facts, strengths and unresolved gaps.
  3. An evidence-based criterion thesis explaining how the documented material fits together.
  4. An organised portfolio that your independent attorney can review efficiently.
