What this evidence category means in practice
A link or clipping may not preserve the details that give coverage meaning. EPB helps capture the full article, author, date, outlet, circulation or audience information, translations and the passages that actually discuss the applicant's work.
EPB does not treat a file name or a short answer as the finished record. Its intelligent follow-up questions help identify who created the record, when it was created, what it proves, what context is missing and which independent source may corroborate it.
Records worth looking for
- Complete article, broadcast transcript or archived page
- Headline, author, publication date and outlet details
- Audience, circulation or professional standing of the publication
- Certified or reliable translation where the original is not English
Keep original files where possible. Record the source, date, author or issuing body and a short factual note explaining what each item demonstrates.
Questions EPB asks—and why
- Is the material substantially about you or merely a passing mention?
- Is the source independent from you and your employer?
- Can the publication's audience and significance be documented?
These questions are designed to expose missing context early. Clear answers help EPB build a fact-based evidence map and allow an attorney to spend more time on professional legal review rather than reconstructing years of background information.
Common documentation gaps
- Screenshots without URL, author or publication date
- Press releases presented as independent reporting
- Coverage of an employer that does not meaningfully discuss the applicant
A gap does not automatically mean that a category is unavailable. It identifies what still needs clarification, recovery or independent corroboration. EPB reports unresolved points honestly rather than turning assumptions into facts.
What EPB produces from your information
- A criterion evidence map connecting claims to documents and sources.
- A third-person critical evaluation separating supported facts, strengths and unresolved gaps.
- An evidence-based criterion thesis explaining how the documented material fits together.
- An organised portfolio that your independent attorney can review efficiently.
